Sorry for the downtime we have had. I am not 100% sure what is causing it but the server was inaccessible to me from the control panel as well. Is all I can tell you at the moment, whatever is causing the downtime is using quite a lot of bandwidth and overloading the server.
As a way to trouble shoot this, I have disabled any items on the server that can cause stress on the server. This is just a temporary measure so I can identify the problem and fix it. So far the only item that is offline is the shoutbox.
If the worst comes to the worst and the server ever just went beyond repair, we would be fine as I manually do daily backups of the database and files. So the maximum loss we would have would be 24hrs worth of posts.
