I love this album! There are more technically proficient bootleg albums out there,but this one has the MOST APPEAL!

Gratulation to everyone involved! I listened to most of the tracks now and i agree with D. The compilation has massive appeal!
Unfortunately i wasn't able to participate...

Of course i will support that brilliant comp by putting a link on my blog!

I already told Useo he should give himself a huge pat on the back for coming up with the idea of a full-on surf music compilation. Surf music is an under-appreciated genre, but what blows me away about this comp is the way the theme has been attacked from every angle. There's the expected surf instrumentals vs mainstream acapellas, but there's also surf vocals vs electronic pop, electronic surf-pop, and every artist from Metallica to Depeche Mode and back again. A creative tour-de-surf!

The comp is a huge artistic success.No doubt.
However,the download numbers seem to be suffering from pre-conceptions about surf music.
It's not been a week,tho',so I'll be patient & see if the numbers improve.

I wonder what theme the next SUS comp will follow?
